Mackenzie Mickelson
Mackenzie is brilliant, talented, has a love for school, volleyball, and hanging out with friends. Her cancer journey began just a few weeks ago when a concerning growth prompted immediate attention from her parents.
After blood work and a CT scan, Mackenzie found herself in the ER, where the diagnosis revealed Hodgkin Lymphoma. Despite the spread of cancer from her neck to her legs, earning her a Stage 4 designation, Mackenzie's prognosis remains excellent.
The road ahead involves 6-8 months of intensive chemo and radiation and despite being labeled "high risk", Mackenzie's upbeat attitude shines through. Her spirit remains unwavering, and her story is one of bravery, hope, and incredible strength.
