North Texas is one of the fastest growing areas of the country, facing unprecedented population growth. To meet the rising regional demand for health care, Children’s Health and UT Southwestern have forged a once-in-a-lifetime vision to create a new pediatric campus to replace the current Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

The new campus, expected to open in 2031, will be unlike anything known today across the North Texas region—a stand-out complex for delivering exceptional pediatric care and bringing hope to children through game-changing research that rivals or exceeds other options around the country. It will further our ability to pioneer innovative academic research and life-saving technology and treatments to care for pediatric patients with the full spectrum of health care needs – from common to complex.

Children’s Cancer Fund has pledged $2.5 Million to fund the new pediatric oncology playroom. This will be an essential space designed to support healing comfort, and joy for children undergoing treatment.
