Sophie Deslatte, 15

Sophie Deslatte lives her life guided by optimism and she earned that outlook honestly. Diagnosed with Optic Nerve Glioma, Sophie understands uncertainty, but she chooses joy anyway. Her hero is her older sister Olivia, a cancer survivor herself, whose journey taught Sophie what perseverance truly looks like.

A lover of percussion, Bruno Mars, and laughter (especially anything involving Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler), Sophie balances humor with ambition. A straight “A” student, she dreams of becoming an anesthesiologist one day, an aspiration rooted in compassion, experience, and courage.

For Sophie, being a CCF fashion show model is not about attention; it’s about expression. It’s about celebrating individuality, resilience, and beauty after hardship. Her story invites donors to see how survivorship is not just about living, it’s about living well, with confidence and hope lighting the way forward.
